Waiern & Ebensee Summer Camps – South Austria

The World's YMCA/YWCA ran summer camps for children. These camps were in different locations across Austria. Clare McMurray was Camp Leader at Waiern near Feldkirchen Kanten in Southern Austria from1st July - 1st September 1949.

Ebensee was another of the World's YMCA/YWCA Summer camps where Clare McMurray spent time. The camp was located about five kms from Ebensee at the Steinkogler Hotel.

 

The Summer Camps had 150 children at a time and each group stayed for three weeks.
